Johannesburg – The Special Tribunal has dismissed an application by businessman Hamilton Ndlovu to stop further legal action being taken against him.
The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) is attempting to recoup R172million from Ndlovu.
It’s alleged Ndlovu was awarded a tender to supply Personal Protective Equipment fraudulently.
The SIU and the national Health Laboratory Services were earlier granted an order to freeze his assets, but R50 million is still not accounted for.
The money was withdrawn from tellers and ATMs in cash.
