Johannesburg – Pitso Mosimane left his post match conference last night following another Al Ahly loss without answering a single question.
Al Ahly suffered their second league defeat in four games while a tricky trip back home to face Mamelodi Sundowns looms in what may very well be a career defining match for Pitso Mosimane and the pressure is beginning to take its toll on the Kagiso born mentor.
Pitso Mosimane had entered the conference room waiting for reporters. However, a few minutes later Jingles ran out of patience and left the room as none of the journalists had arrived as yet. The press conference was then cancelled.
Al Ahly club director has since urged Mosimane and his side to rise above the challenges they are facing and turn their performances around on the field of play.
“El Mahalla played with a very good spirit. We were not good enough in the first half and we lost most of the duels. I believe that this is normal especially with our overwhelmed schedule,” Al Ahly Director of Football Sayed Abdelhafiz said.
“Pitso Mosimane and his side need to improve their performance in the next two games, it doesn’t matter what you are going through. I believe that we need to improve our performance in these two games specifically.”
